What an awesome night at Bronte’s 21st Birthday Celebrations. Lorleigh Photography had the pleasure of being invited to record the magical event. With all her family back in town for the celebrations, we even took the opportunity of capturing a Family Portrait Session before the arrival of Bronte’s party guests. It had been a while since a family portrait had been captured & what a perfect opportunity to update the family album and create an additional special keep sake from the evening. A fantastic sunset & twilight hour provided beautiful background lighting for our Family Portrait Session. Such a perfect night! Not only were we blessed with a gorgeous sunset & twilight hour ~ as the night progressed a spectacular full moon rising on the horizon appeared! With the moon & distant city lights providing a perfect backdrop for the evening, a great night was had by all. Thought I’d share a few more of my favourite pics from the evening ~ Enjoy !!

I would like to share a little something with you. Why do I enjoy my craft so much? …. I love witnessing the love, the bonds & the emotions on display during any occassion ~ be it a wedding, a 21st, cuddles during a newborn shoot or the little air of mischief that surrounds a typical 18mth old toddler. It’s all about capturing this love and these bonds & capturing the true emotions associated with the event or occassion on that day.

One of life’s events I recently had the honour of capturing was little Baby Girl’s arrival. Capturing the story of her birth and all the emotions surrounding this life changing event was so humbling ! I’ll be honest …. with the exception of my own two babies, this was my first time witnessing a birth & I was truely blown away by what a truely memorable experience this is. Just beautiful. Beautiful Baby Girl arrived in quick time & both Mum & Dad were exceptional through the entire process. And a note to the Dad’s …. Baby Arrival Photography means you get relieved of the photographer duties during this time ~ which I think is perfect (& I’m sure your partner will agree!) ~ allowing you to focus solely on your partner and the arrival of your new baby and nothing else!! Now that’s perfect !!
